Whirlwind Web Site

To: Whirlwind Crew members- past and potential future!

I know that many of you were wondering if the boat still existed,: well it does and it floats.
The link below is to the 2001 weekend schedule. I hope many of you can make it.

2001 Schedule ( Updated 7/11/01)

A few simple crew rules is all we have:
1) We always seem to need crew on weekend races. If you would like to bring a
friend for Weekends feel free.(Let us know)
2) Wednesday night crew is full. You already know if you have a regular Wednesday
spot. Check with our new crew chief Barbara Field Curry each week if you can't make it.
3) Also let Barb or me know if you would like a spot on Wednesdays. Preference on
Wednesdays is given to those who can make a commitment to some of the weekend
races. Some Wed Spaces are opening up!!!

Our former crew chief Ken has semi-retired, but he will be running a new farm team. Ken is looking
to hold a couple of FUN!!! training sails for people who are interested but have little or
no sailing experience,(emphasis on FUN). Contact Ken and encourage him to set them up.

Let's go racing!!

PS: Those who were feeling bad about missing the spring work parties will be pleased to know
that there is plenty still to do. I plan on getting down to the boat early on the next couple of
Wednesdays to do some major topsides cleaning. Please come help!

Phone numbers are here.
