David Curry started Whitney Woods Designs in 2001 after 20 years in engineering, project management and marketing in the high technology industry. Combining his engineering background with an interest in homebuilding and woodworking, Dave's decision to start a second career in the exciting business of home remolding was a natural.

Dave's specialty is embracing the challenging project that most contractors won't touch. Whether it's designing a small addition to fit in limited space, dealing with the surprises that older homes often reveal, or unique mechanical or electical problem, Dave loves the challenge of finding the optimal solution.

Whitney Woods does all of its' design work in either AutoCad or Chief Architect. Chief Architect provides a full suite of 3D rendering and modeling tools to fully analyze the design prior to construction.
