Combining Dave's experience in home design with the latest in 3D CAD and Design Software we are able to provide a cost effective alternative to design assistance and permit-ready plans.

General Contracting
Let Whitney Woods manage your construction project. We have years of project management experience and a group of skilled subcontractors ready to turn your home remodeling dreams into reality. We can eliminate the burden of phone calls, scheduling etc. that add to the angst of remodeling.

Construction, Rough and Finish work
For small to medium size projects we will do most of the construction work ourselves. Work include demolition, rough construction, cabinet installation, and interior finish.

Specialty designs and control systems
If your home improvement problem has an unusual aspect, Dave and Whitney Woods Designs are the answer. Dave enjoys solving problems that most contractors and designers won't touch. In addition, Dave's background in Electrical Engineering and Consumer electronics give him the knowledge base to address many of the difficult home automation or control issues.

Homeowner assisted projects
Interested in providing a little "sweat equity"? Dave is more than willing to structure remodeling projects to include the homeowner as an integral part of the job, saving overall construction dollars. He can provide training and consulting for your project.

Custom cabinetry and millwork
Shop facilities available to Whitney Woods Designs include both a fully capable cabinet shop in Norfolk and a basic woodworking facility in Cohasset.
